Clayton County Communications Center

The Clayton County Law Enforcement Center is also the hub for 99% of all emergency communications in Clayton County with the exception of Guttenberg Police Department who still maintains there own dispatch center. From here all Police, Fire and EMS units are dispatched. All emergency 911 and non-emergency calls come into this center and the proper units are dispatched. Also from here the dispatchers and jailers control the jail pod units where the inmates are housed.

All the dispatchers and jailers are certified by the State of Iowa in areas such as Telecommunicator Operator, Certified Jailer, defensive tactics, and basic radio communications.
