When is the first and last day to apply for an absentee ballot?

Absentee ballot requests received prior to 120 days before election day will be returned to the requester. The request form must be received in the county auditor’s office by 5 p.m. on the Friday, eleven days before the election. If the request is for the general election, the deadline to request a ballot by mail is the Saturday, ten days before the election. You may still vote early in person at our office through the day before the election. If you are voting by mail your ballot must be postmarked the day before the election or returned in person to our office on Election Day by the close of the polls. For more information, please call the Auditor’s Office at 563-245-1106.
